Giannakidis Efstathios
Efstathios Giannakidis is an economist and a business consultant, graduate of the Department of Economics of the Democritus University of Thrace and a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece since 2010. He worked as an accountant assisstant in a private company in 2011. From August 2012 till January 2015 he worked in the Greek Parliament as a parliamentary assistant for a Member of Parliament with the responsibility of the Economics affairs Committee. In January 2015 he was elected Member of the Greek Parliament, and from August 2018 till June 2019 he served as a Deputy Minister for Economy and Development with main respinsibility the National Strategic Reference Framework. He contributed to the organising of the Regional Conference for the Reconstruction of Production of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in 2017. Acting in that institutional capacity ,he participated in numerous conferences,forums and sessions such as the Sustainable Blue Economy Conference in Kenya in 2018, the Strategic Dialogue U.S.A. -Greece 2019, the 6th Tripartite Summit Conference Greece-Cyprus-Egupt, the 2nd tripartite Summit Conference Greece-Cyprus-Jordan, the 1st Balkan Forum in Thessaloniki etc. Research and Innovation Strategies for Smart Specialisation (RIS3) in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, project design and implementation of innovative investing plans, provision of financial consulting in co-operations such as Social Cooperative Enterprises, promotion of targeted collaborations and further assosiation among research, technology and the productive procedure are contemporary and particularly attractive social and financial challenges.
