New MSc in Digital Humanities

A new master’s program in Digital Humanities, offered by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with the University of Cyprus and the ATHENA Research Centre, is starting in the academic year 2024-2025.

The MSc in Digital Humanities aims to provide scientific expertise and serve as a foundation for advancing research in this rapidly evolving field. Digital Humanities is a domain of significant scientific, social, and economic importance, essential for the preservation and promotion of digital heritage on a global scale.

The MSc in Digital Humanities offers 4 specialisations: (a) Data Analytics for Humanities, (b) 3D Technologies, (c) Augmented Textual Studies and (d) Geographic Information Systems.

The program will be supported by faculty members from the three collaborating institutions, as well as distinguished scholars from other Greek and international institutions. The postgraduate program accepts graduates from departments of Humanities and Social Sciences, Informatics and Information Science/Technologies, and Digital Industry Technologies in Greece, as well as from recognized equivalent departments abroad. Graduates from relevant T.E.I. departments are also eligible to apply.
