Graduated from the University of Patras with a Degree in Philology (Specialisation in Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies). She holds Master’s Degrees in Comparative Literature (King’s College London) and in Digital Methods for the Humanities (Athens University of Economics and Business, Department of Informatics). Upon the completion of the latest, her dissertation was entitled “Named Entity Recognition in Greek News, Legal and Literary Texts: Investigation in different text genres”. Her interests include the study of language, literature, and the way in which Natural Language Processing can lead us to better study, understand and utilise them. At the “Athena” Research Center, she contributes to the creation, development and assessment of language technology tools.
