Polytropon is organized in the following thematic areas:
1. Embodied Communication and
2. Text analytics in Knowledge Management The Embodied Communication focuses on the areas of human communication which include the indexing and processing of data from a variety of sensory and movement sources that complement the language message in comprehension and learning processes. The complex environment of human communication (generation) produce and comprehension is being searched for i. decoding the multi-modal expression which accompanies speech production, ii. the integration of emotional features in the production of synthetic speech and iii. analysis of the semantic indicators used by sign languages use in 3D space.
