George Tsalidis is a researcher at the Environmental and Networking Technologies and Applications Unit of Athena – Research and Innovation Center in Information, Communication and Knowledge Technologies. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki and did his PhD at the Process and Energy department of Delft University of Technology on the effect of pre-treatment on tars production during gasification of wood. George’s expertise lies in the fields of Life Cycle Assessment, Social-Life Cycle Assessment and thermochemical conversion of biomass.
