I am a linguist with an MA in Linguistic Studies from the University of Essex, where my thesis explored evasiveness in Greek political interviews and debates through conversation analysis. My academic journey began with a BA in Greek Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where I focused on linguistics and completed a thesis on exploring the evolving linguistic expressions of young people within everyday conversations in digital spaces as a form of identity expression. This solid academic foundation provided me with in-depth knowledge of language dynamics, pragmatics, and discourse analysis, which I continue to apply in my professional career.

With over three years of experience in language processing, risk analysis, and AI quality assessment, I am currently a freelance linguistics researcher at ILSP, Athena RC, contributing to the JustReDI project, which focuses on digital transformation and green initiatives. I am also involved in optimizing Meltemi, the first Greek Large Language Model (LLM), using conversational data for AI training and quality assessment.

In addition to my research work, I have five years of experience teaching Greek, enhancing my communication and analytical skills. My involvement in projects like Unified Schema, Straight to Annotation (STA), and deep learning initiatives for Multiword Expression (MWE) classification, Masked Language Modelling and Prompt Engineering further underscores my expertise in transcription, annotation, and conversation analysis. My focus lies in the intersection of linguistics and AI, leveraging computational tools to enhance language processing and business efficiency.
