Kyratzopoulou Eleni

Eleni Kyratzopoulou received her degree in 2008 from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Democritus University of Thrace. In 2010, she obtained her Master’s Degree from the Department of Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in biochemistry. She conducted her research work for her master’s degree at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” in the Institute of Radioisotopes and Radiodiagnostic Products. Since 2010, she has been a scholar at the Hellenic Pasteur Institute in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Immunobiotechnology, where she participated in research programs. She has also participated in research programs in Istanbul, Turkey, at the T.C. Istanbul University Institute of Experimental Medical Research, Department of Molecular Medicine (DETAE). She has also served as a substitute teacher in Biology in secondary education. In March 2024, she began her collaboration with the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) / “Athena” Research Center in Thrace, where she participates in the program “ALGEBRA – Innovative wastewater biotherapy practice for the removal of toxic compounds using microalgae within a circular economy framework” as a biologist for the program.
