Kosmas Kritsis is a Ph.D. candidate at the Dept. of Informatics, University of Piraeus, Greece and Associate Researcher at the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP), Athena R. C., Greece. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Sound and Music Computing from the University Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Spain. He obtained his B.Sc. in Informatics from the International Hellenic University, formerly known as Alexander Technological Educational Institute, Greece. As an undergraduate student he received twice the EU Erasmus scholarship, finalizing a year of studies at the Dept. of Computer Science, University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. He also received the EU Erasmus Intern scholarship as a student researcher at the ICube Laboratory, University of Strasbourg, France. His research interests include signal processing, machine learning, interactive multimedia and systems.
