Theodore Goulas is a research associate and has been associated with the Institute for Language and Speech processing (ILSP)/ Athena RC since 2007. Theodore Goulas obtained his Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Biomedical Engineering and informatics from the Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany. He received his master degree in computational linguistics from the University of Athens, in 2014. He participated at various projects, in the fields of Machine Translation, Sign Language data processing, Synthetic Signing technologies, educational technologies. Currently is a member of the sign language technologies (slt.ilsp.gr) team at ILSP, focusing with the development of assistive tools and accessible interfaces, mostly addressing accessibility needs of the Greek Sign Language (GSL).
