Dr. Antigoni Tsiami is a research associate at the Institute of Language and Speech Processing (ILSP), researching and developing speech technologies, such as dialog systems and speech recognition. Antigoni got her M.Eng and PhD from Electrical and Computer Engineering School of NTUA (National Technical University of Athens) in 2012 and 2019 respectively. Her PhD thesis focused on audiovisual saliency prediction and human attention modelling in audiovisual scenes. During her PhD, she participated in numerous European and National research projects as a research assistant, mainly in the fields of speech recognition, far-field speech processing for smart home applications, audiovisual saliency and dialog systems. After her PhD, she worked as a Postdoctoral researcher in NTUA for 2 years and then for one year in a Greek startup company as a machine learning engineer.
