Argiro Vataki is a postdoctoral researcher for the EU-funded project POETICON. She holds a BA in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, CA, USA and a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford, U.K. Argiro has completed her doctoral research on the investigation of the factors modulating temporal perception for complex speech, musical, and object action events. She has also worked in human factors, vision science and psychoacoustics, and behavioural neuroscience projects. She has presented her work in many international meetings and has authored a number of peer reviewed articles on multisensory processing.
